Feng Shui is a mix of science and art that originated many thousand years back in ancient China. It is an intricate mixture of knowledge from art and science that works together to improve the energy in your environment so that you are guaranteed wealth, good health and fortune in all things in life.

When you translate the word Feng Shui, Feng means wind and Shui translates to water. Wind and water are 2 parts of nature out of the five that are frequently part of the Feng Shui equation. The Chinese have always seen water and relaxing winds with a luxuriant crop and health.

The first tool is known as the Ba-Gua and is a map with an octagonal grid with diverse symbols from a traditional predictions. This map is the most tried and true way to establish Feng Shui in the home or office.

Feng Shui is used to improve the balance of energy (or chi) in your living and work environments to guarantee a more pleasing and beneficial environment that in turn, leads to positive changes in your health , family life, marriage, prosperity and even recognition.

Feng Shui has become a force to be reckoned with in architecture and internal design. Actually there are different schools of Feng Shui that infrequently take years of stuffy before you are actually well informed in the customs of this ancient Chinese technique.

However , you do not have to be a professional in order to make many positive changes in your life using Feng Shui. Even one or two followed basic principles can make a huge effect on your life.
